Providing vocational and business training to create lasting change in our community
THE GOAL
The Legacy Learning Center provides education and training in vocational and business principles for our community to help create sustainable income and lasting change in the lives of the people of Myanmar. Because of the civil unrest in Myanmar, public schools have not been in session for over three years. Our school has offered education and the opportunity to learn for young women in Myanmar, teaching them how to sew, basic business principles, and financial management so that they are able to create a new legacy for their families.
We will graduate our 100th student this year thanks to the support of our donors, and are excited to expand to a second school at our next campus and will add dedicated vocational training for young men!
